Malcolm Gladwell Chooses Daniel H. Pink’s Drive for The New Yorker Book Club
As a part of The New Yorker’s Book Club, Malcolm Gladwell has selected the March pick: Drive by Daniel H. Pink. Gladwell claims, "[Pink] tackles the question of what motivates people to do innovative work, and his jumping-off point is the academic work done over the past few decades that consistently shows that financial rewards hinder creativity. These studies have been around for a while. But Pink follows though on their implications in a way that is provocative and fascinating.” Be on the look out for live discussions and reactions from other New Yorker staff writers and contributors.
